Important dates for the transboundary Prespa Park:

  • 02-02-2000: Joint Declaration signed by the Prime ministers of Greece, Albania and North Macedonia.
  • 2001-2009: 11 meetings of the PPMC were organized and the PPMC endorsed the “STRATEGIC ACTION PLAN FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRESPA PARK”
  • 02-02-2010: Signing of the Agreement between Greece, Albania, North Macedonia and the EU

    The "Agreement between the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Albania, the Republic of North Macedonia and the European Committee for the Protection and Sustainable Development of the Prespa Park Area", was signed at the Pyli Information Center in Prespa, Greece, on 2 February 2010.
  • 29-05-2019: Entry into force of the Agreement on the Protection and Sustainable Development of the Prespa Park Area
